Intensive Introduction (suitable for beginner to advanced students)
Taught by CJ Huang.  Click here for CJ's profile.

Sales are an integral part of doing business and often mean the difference between success and failure.  It is a profession that is often misunderstood and rarely practiced at its higher levels.  A true sales professional never operates in his or her own interest, but rather in the interest of the client.  This course will take you beyond the science of selling into the realm of a proper art form, as we combine the technical aspects with the subtleties of interpersonal relations.  We will cover every aspect of not-just selling, but selling in China, from overcoming the obstacles of obtaining new customers to fulfilling your long-term responsibilities to existing and past clients.  In this course, you will learn:

  • the psychology of buying and selling

  • the mindset of a successful sales professional

  • the interpersonal relationship and communications aspects of sales

  • overcoming stress and anxiety throughout the sales process

  • planning, setting goals, and carrying out optimal sales campaigns

  • the skills and tools of prospecting, qualifying, and time management

  • effectively uncovering the customer's needs

  • how to present your product or service for maximum results

  • how to overcome obstacles that slow or stop the sales process

  • how to create proposals and manage the proposal process

  • customer relations management

  • why and how current existing customers are your best advertising

  • the ins and outs of marketing in relation to sales

Effective selling is critical to most businesses, especially in today's competitive environment.  This course will teach you how to set yourself apart from the competition and create win-win solutions for both you and your clients.
