Mario Cavolo
Acting on Stage and Screen

Mario Cavolo is one of the busiest feature actors in China, with major roles in four TV series and a variety of national TV commercials and shows.  Mario will be starring in 2005 in a direct supporting role to famous Hong Kong actress Cecilia Yip and China superstar model Hu Bing in 8 episodes of Yao Bai Nu Lang, the sequel to China’s record breaking TV series Feng Hong Nu Lang (Pink Lady).  The entire script and vocals are in Chinese language without overdubbing.  Mario’s love for acting began when he was in the 8th grade, when he played the lead role of Jesus in the hit play Godspell, requiring him to learn over 800 lines of script for the 2 hour musical production… and his career has never stopped since!  Mario studied professional acting at the elite Elayne Stein School of Acting in the US, and has appeared in several Hollywood films and TV commercials.  His more recent work includes the following credits:

CCTV China TV Series

Guo Bao De Chuan Shuo, shot in Shanghai and Nanjing
