Joost De Geyter Joost comes to us with an amazing 20 years of design, multimedia, and film experience, which spans the IT, Internet, film, animation, and multimedia industries. After completing his bachelor’s degree in audiovisual arts at Belgium’s Erasmus University, Joost worked as an animation supervisor and first cameraman for 352 Productions, one of Europe’s largest 2D studios. Joost later went to work as an animation and visual-effects supervisor for VRT, Belgium’s national TV station, where he was responsible for video and sound editing for various nationally-broadcast TV programs. Later, Joost’s career in graphics and visual-effects blossomed in both TV and feature films, leading him to Samsa Films and a variety of other well-known studios and projects, including:
In addition to his broad range of industry experience, Joost has worked as a freelance tutor and instructor. He is both passionate and patient in his teaching and has a particular knack for bringing out his students’ creative side. Joost is also a computer expert with various certifications and technical credentials.
