This course offers a multi-level approach to the martial arts, whether you are looking for basic self defence for fitness and confidence or you are looking to eventually master the form. Come and learn practical physical skills and intensive meditation techniques, which can improve every aspect of your life. The initial focus of this course will be:

  • Proper physical movement (learn warm up and stretching techniques, methods for building strength, endurance, speed and efficiency)

  • Meditation (develop focus, discipline, inner peace and self confidence through intense visualization techniques. Great for stress relief, stabilizing your sleep cycle and over all health.)

  • A diverse range of martial applications, from simple defensive skill development, joint locks and throws to tactical offensive pre-emptive combat manoeuvres.

  • Tactical development (learn how your mind and body works and which techniques suit you best. Understanding and evaluating crisis situations and management.)

Please register online first to reserve your place. You will then receive a confirmation email. Next, payment must be made on site at the ELC Learning Annex during the payment dates (you can come in person or send someone).

Your place in the class cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received. Any course that does not meet sufficient enrollment may be cancelled and a full refund provided upon presentation of your original receipt.
